So-So Japanese

This is a site for non-Japanese to understand Japanese.

But this is a just private site.

I recommend you to drink Sake (or wine, whisky whatever) to be relax, before checking the contents.

Please do not take too serious. To be just "So-So".

So-So

I feel that "So-So" sounds very Japanese. When I heard this word first time, I felt that it could be one of the good English key words to understand Japanese culture. "So-So" well reflects Japanese peoples' attitude

For example, "Everything is so-so" for Japanese means "Everything is fine" for American.

Confusion is interesting!

It is very natural that people confuses when he or she meets different people/culture first time.

In most of cases, people is getting use to and understand such a different, but sometimes it could make trouble/misunderstanding

In the worst case, people could give up to understand and/or hating each other. This is what my site try to avoid.
